Indialantic Hail Storm

On March 27th, 2019, Brevard County, Florida saw its most significant hail storm in recorded history. We didn’t hear too much from any potential clients following the storm, just a relative who had some vehicle damage. While surveying the neighborhood, we certainly saw a large number of roofers in action performing repairs and replacements.

In the time since the storm, however, we’ve heard from at least three different new clients in Indialantic and Merritt Island. Two of the clients had noticed hail damage after the fact, reported the claim to their insurance company, and in one claim an engineer denied there was even a hail storm, and in the other, an engineer denied there was hail damage to the property, despite the fact that the property across the street was receiving a roof replacement from the same storm!

The third client received a payment, but a supplement is currently pending.

Many times, small powerful storms are ignored by insurance companies and their engineers are paid enough to rubber stamp a coverage denial because the data is so localized.

If you’ve had damage to your home from a hail storm, or just a small, powerful thunderstorm, call us today. We have the right experts, including forensic meteorologists and professional engineers to fight for your claim and help you get the recovery you deserve.
