Property Damage in Jupiter & Palm Beach County Has Its Own Challenges
Our Jupiter office sits in Jupiter Farms, and the properties we handle across Palm Beach County vary widely. That can mean acreage homes with detached structures and well systems, tile-roofed homes in Abacoa and Palm Beach Gardens, oceanfront condos in Juno Beach, waterfront estates in Admirals Cove and Jupiter Inlet Colony, and older homes throughout West Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach.
High-value homes can make property insurance claims especially complex. Custom millwork, imported stone, specialty tile, clay and standing-seam roofs, elevators, docks, seawalls, and high-value contents all require careful documentation and accurate pricing. Those details can easily be missed or undervalued during an initial inspection.
Other local issues matter too, including barrier-island wind deductibles, condo master-policy responsibilities, and acreage properties where detached structures may be overlooked. Our Public Adjusters inspect the full loss, document the damage, and prepare the repair estimate based on what the property actually requires.
South Florida Coverage, Statewide Support
Our Jupiter office serves Palm Beach County and all of South Florida, from Tequesta and Palm Beach Gardens through West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and the surrounding communities. Beyond South Florida, VIP Adjusting has four Florida offices providing Public Adjuster representation statewide, helping homeowners and businesses with property insurance claims from the Panhandle south.
You pay nothing up front and nothing out of pocket. Our fee is contingent on recovery from your property insurance claim, and reviewing your loss is always free.

Meet Lance Petrie
Lance is a Co-Owner of VIP Adjusting and Head of Business Development, based out of our Jupiter office. Before entering public adjusting, he spent more than fifteen years in engineering, including roles at CH2M Hill, now Jacobs, and BRPH Architects and Engineers, working on infrastructure, facilities, and utility systems in the U.S. and abroad.
That engineering background is especially valuable on large-loss and commercial property claims, where building systems, detailed scopes, code requirements, business operations, and complex repair costs can all affect the outcome. Lance specializes in these types of losses, bringing a technical perspective to claims that require a deeper understanding of how a property is built, how the damage affects its systems, and what it will actually take to restore it. He is licensed in Florida, South Carolina, and Texas, and is also a WIND certified appraiser and umpire.

We work directly with the insurance company, presenting evidence and estimates to achieve a fair settlement.
We help to finalize, process and secure all payments due under your policy, including initial, supplemental, and final disbursements.
the Maximum Settlement
From the first inspection through the final payment, every step is focused on one outcome: documenting, supporting, and negotiating your claim for the maximum settlement available under your policy.
The Difference Is in the Details
Property insurance claims are decided on what can be documented and supported. These real results compare the insurance company's initial offer with the final settlement recovered after VIP Adjusting stepped in to inspect, estimate, document, and negotiate the claim.
A slab leak pushed water under the flooring and into the walls before anyone saw it at the surface.
A failed tile roof let water into the attic and down through the ceilings over several rain events.
A house fire left structural damage along with heavy smoke and soot well beyond the room of origin.
Every claim is unique. Results vary based on individual policy coverage, damage, and circumstances. Past results are not a guarantee of future outcomes.

Frequently asked questions
What does a Public Adjuster actually do?
The adjuster the insurance company sends works for the insurance company. A Public Adjuster is licensed to work for you on your property insurance claim. We inspect and document the loss, price the repairs, read the policy, and present the claim on your behalf.
My carrier already sent an adjuster. Is it too late to call you?
No, and this is when most people call us. A carrier inspection and a first estimate are a starting position, not a final one. We compare their scope against what we document, and where repairs were missed or underpriced, we put together a supplement.
What if my claim was underpaid, delayed, or denied?
That is a large part of the work at this office. We look at the policy, the carrier's reasoning, and the damage itself, then re-document the loss and present the evidence for reconsideration.
Do you handle hurricane and windstorm claims in Jupiter and Palm Beach County?
Yes, and it is most of what this office handles. Wind, wind-driven rain, tile and shingle roof losses, screen enclosures, and the interior damage that surfaces weeks afterward. See our hurricane and windstorm page for more.
What about flood and storm surge?
Yes. From Jupiter Inlet down through Delray, wind and water damage often land in the same loss, and carriers frequently split the two. Part of our job is establishing how the damage happened and which coverage answers for it.
Do you work with condo owners and associations?
Both. Condo losses usually involve figuring out where the association's master policy ends and the unit owner's HO-6 coverage begins, and we take claims on either side of that line.
Do you handle commercial property claims?
Yes. Owners and tenants, including the building, tenant improvements, equipment and contents, and business interruption while the space cannot be used.
How far south do you go?
All of South Florida. Our Jupiter office handles property insurance claims throughout Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. VIP Adjusting's four Florida offices provide statewide representation beyond South Florida.
When should I call?
Sooner is better, ideally before you file, so the loss is documented while the evidence is fresh. That said, we take files at any stage, including claims that have been open for months.
Which areas does this office cover?
Our Jupiter office serves Palm Beach County and all of South Florida, including communities throughout Broward and Miami-Dade. VIP Adjusting's four Florida offices provide statewide representation.
What does it cost?
Reviewing your loss is always free. Public Adjusters in Florida work on contingency, a percentage of the claim recovery, so there is nothing up front and nothing out of pocket. No recovery means no fee.
