Congrats! You've found our Easter Egg!

VIP Adjusting Easter Egg

It all started when...

We take our jobs seriously, but it's also our personal motto never to take yourself too seriously. In order to stay true to that motto, our company's name is a bit of a play on words.

VIP Adjusting states the obvious; We cater our adjusting services to Very Important People, and that's exactly the type of top-notch service we provide. But, our name is also a bit of an inside joke and a reminder to always have fun with what you do.

The majority of our company grew up in the 90's. We spent time playing video games full of various easter eggs left by the creators and programmers. When creating our company, we wanted to do a little bit of the same.

One of our favorite shows growing up was Seinfeld, and perhaps their longest running recurring reference was by George Costanza to a fictional person "Art Vandelay"(whom he made up after forgetting the name of his original fake name "Art Corvelay"), that ultimately became attached to quite the lore.

Over the years, Art Vandelay was both George's fictional friend, as well as his vicarious alter-ego, who was a success in business as an Architect, Importer... and Exporter, and the owner of Vandelay Industries.

The gag came full circle in the final two episodes as (spoiler alert!) judge Arthur Vandelay sentenced the entire Seinfeld crew to prison for their violation of an obscure good samaritan law.

When creating our company, which was a fictional concept of ours, the idea of doing business together as family, for quite some time, we thought we'd entertain ourselves by creating a multi-use acronym that also had a separate, private meaning for our own entertainment - Vandelay Industries Public Adjusting.

If you've made it to this page, congratulations. You've figured us out...
